intelligent eXchange (iX), the TeleWare IP Telephony solution, is an open standards SIP-based IP softswitch providing the foundation for excellent multitenated hosted communications solutions. iX is highly scalable by design to address the requirements of service providers and their partners. iX is embedded into the TeleWare platform, sharing common resources with the proven TeleWare telephony applications and forming a common Application Service Provision environment without multiple, disparate, proprietary applications and infrastructure components.
Every telephony solution needs a fully featured operator console application and iX-Console is a fully featured console that perfectly integrates with TeleWare’s iX.
The iX-Console is a specialised version of the TeleWare iX-Fone and as such it offers full interoperability with open standard SIP products.
The iX-Console provides a complete business communication solution. Telephony, video, presence and instant messaging are available in one user friendly application.
Application Window
The application window provides the operator with a clear interface that enables them to answer, make and handle calls with ease. Calls can be taken using a USB handset or headset. The application window shows the status of all calls in progress and those calls waiting to be answered.
Call Status Display
The call status shows the details of the calling and called party of the call. This will include the Calling Line Identity (CLI) or name, if available. This feature helps the operator personalise the service given to internal callers.
Automatic Speech Recognition
The iX-Console has the option to respond to the operators voice, if Microsoft's Speech API is installed.
Skinned Application
The customer has control of the look and feel and feature set of the iX-Console because it is a 'skinned' application.
Additional Features
iX-Console provides access to many key features and the layout can be configured by altering the skin depending on the operator's preference.
